Tip 1: It’s very important with the Mangalitsa pork to cook low and slow! The meat is hearty, and the fat is very succulent! The fat is like butter, and will scorch/ flair easily. Try indirect heat, or oven baking them. Taste the fat, its is everything amazing in every way!
TIP 2:The secret to making mouth watering pork chops is ~ after they have been grilled, allow them 10-20 minutes to rest in a steamer on the grill or the stove top. I’m confident YOUR chops will be the talk of the neighborhood for a long time to come!
Customer preferred cooking method:
Take a package out, take secondary wrapper off, put 1 tsp per pound meat course salt on both sides, replace into package, and put in frig for 24 hours. or till thawed. Fry in 1 tbs bacon fat or lard in a cast iron pan, covered to the desired done-ness. you can eat our pork rare if you wish.
